The chances that I cry post-haircut are 99%. So when I walked out of Williamsburg's darling Little Axe salon with nary a tear and [gasp] a smile, I knew I had to blog about it.
Disclaimer: I went to the Little Axe once before, about three weeks prior to my wedding. I was having a total hair crisis following a way-too-thinned-out cut. The salon's owner, Coby Alcantar (SO sweet) was a true savior, amping up the overall shape of my mane with as few snips as possible.
I was confident that happiness would ensue a complete Little Axe cut, but ended up blown away this time when my stylist, the lovely Kristen Keller (formerly of Whittemore House in the West Village), finished up my fabulous new 'do. I love, love, love how it's a breeze to style and totally plays off of my natural wavy texture. Kristen also introduced me to this amazing Oribe styling cream that seems to completely combat the winter hair blahs.
THANK YOU KRISTEN! Little Axe, I can't wait to come back.
