Today, the New York Times asks if normcore is real or a joke. To that, I say, pleasseeee: my white Tevas just can't arrive soon enough.
Normcore–as opposed to the Times' lamely named "fauxcore"–is comfortable, easy, and cheap. Until I get around to digging through my '95 fashion archives (also see: turquoise Champion sweatshirt, duffel Jansport backpack, and Gap overalls), I'll be online shopping these norm-tacular items:
